Hi! I'm Laura, 28, and I'm moving to Amsterdam to start a PhD position at Vrije Universiteit. I'm originally from Germany and looking for a place I can settle into for the longer term. I previously lived in Masstricht, The Netherlands for my bachelors, a few months in California, and most recently in Munich for the past three years together with my brother. A bit about me: I'd describe myself as an introvert who still really enjoys good company. I like coming home to a calm, clean space, and I put effort into keeping shared areas that way. I enjoy cooking and would love the occasional shared dinner or evening chat, but I also completely respect that everyone needs their own time and quiet. I'm not someone who'll fill the flat with parties or guests. My weekdays are fairly structured: I work from the office during the day, so the flat is mostly empty until the evening. In my free time I cycle, do yoga and Pilates, and I'm looking forward to properly exploring Amsterdam, such as museums, markets, parks and everything in between. Ideally I'd share with one other young professional or PhD student who has a similar rhythm: friendly and open, but valuing a peaceful home. I'm easy-going, communicative about practical things, and I have a stable university income. I'd be very happy to meet for a viewing or a video call so we can see whether it's a good fit.

Nice to meet you! In September I'll start an MSc in Chemical Engineering in TU Delft. I'm 23 years old, from Spain and I'm looking for a long-term apartment in Delft or near there. I lived in Germany for a year with five roommates (you can see us in the 4th picture) and we made a lot of plans together. My year in Germany showed me how much a good atmosphere at home matters, and I'd love to find something similar in Delft. Ik ben Abe, op het moment 18j oud 19 wanneer ik start met mijn studie, afgelopen halfjaar heb ik gestudeerd aan de technische universiteit Eindhoven maar dat beviel niet helemaal, aankomende september wil ik dan ook graag beginnen aan informatiekunde dubbele bachelor met informatica aan Universiteit Utrecht.
