Hi, my name is Archie and I’m 19 years old. I’m originally from Spain, with British/Spanish parents - I’m fully bilingual. I’m moving to Eindhoven to study Industrial Engineering at TU/e and I’m looking for a comfortable, quiet place to call home while I focus on my degree. Before starting university I spent a gap year solo-travelling through South America, working in Maui and honing my surf skills, and spending a month in Bali surfing twice a day and meeting travellers from all over the world. It was an incredible experience that taught me a lot about independence, adaptability, and looking after myself (and others) wherever I am. I’m a responsible and tidy person; I take good care of shared spaces and respect the home I live in. I’m a non-smoker and don’t have any pets. I’m also pretty handy when it comes to DIY, so small things that need fixing are never a problem! Outside of my studies, I’m very active and love sport - tennis, kitesurfing, foil, surfing, skiing, wakeboarding, and hiking are all part of my life. I also have a real passion for food - I love cooking and eating well, with a good mix of Spanish and British influences thrown in. My parents are fully supportive of my move and are available to act as guarantors if required, so there is no concern regarding rent payments. Daarna 2,5 jaar gewerkt als grafisch vormgever bij DeFabrique en daarnaast ook een tijdje grafisch vormgever geweest bij het reclamebureau van mijn vader. In de toekomst heb ik altijd al een bachelor willen volgen. Het liefst de aan een kunstacademie en een illustratie richting. Een illustratie opleiding is het helaas niet geworden, maar ben ik wel toegelaten tot de opleiding Communicatie en Multimedia design aan de hogeschool Zuyd en ook dat zie ik helemaal zitten! Om vanaf Woerden heen en weer te reizen naar Maastricht is natuurlijk geen optie, dus een mooie kamer in Maastricht zou mij erg helpen.
