Hi all! I'm an incoming Research Master's student in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the UvA, starting this September. I'm originally from Slovakia and have been living in the Netherlands for four years now  (ik begrijp Nederlands goed en ben het ook aan het leren) I lived in Leiden for the past couple of years, where I still work at a computer science research institute, and I'm currently based in Haarlem. I'm now looking to move to Amsterdam to be closer to my studies. In my free time I enjoy going to the gym and reading. I have a solid track record as a tenant and am comfortable with shared living.

Dat lukt inmiddels aardig. Ik ben netjes, betrouwbaar en soms een tikkeltje chaotisch, maar op een gezellige manier. Hi there, I am looking for a room or a studio in Amsterdam starting in July. I have lived in Amsterdam since September 2025 and have come here for my university studies. I will be continuing into my second year of studying Human Geography and Urban Planning at the University of Amsterdam in September of this year. I’m a German and Canadian citizen but originally grew up in Bali until I was 12. Before moving to Amsterdam last year, I lived in Berlin for 3 years, where I was studying and received my International Baccalaureate diploma. I took a year off from studying, during which I volunteered for 3 months at a yoga retreat center outside of Barcelona. After my volunteering experience, I moved back to Berlin, where I was working full-time as a receptionist at a boutique hotel.
