My name is Fernando Rodríguez Barroso. I am a third-year student at Leiden University, studying International Relations and Organisations (Political Science). Born and raised in Jerez de la Frontera, I am Spanish and have lived there until I was 18, when I went to study in the United States for a year. I have been living in The Hague for two years now, but my connection to the Netherlands goes back over eight years, thanks to a close family friendship in Amsterdam. I speak Spanish and English fluently, and I already have a good command of Dutch, although I intend to keep improving it until I can speak it with fluency. For the time being, I plan to continue studying for my master’s degree in the Netherlands, as I feel very at home in this country and its culture. I consider myself a respectful, easygoing and open-minded person. I like to be organized and create an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable. Hi! I’m Andrea, and I’m really excited about spending some time in Amsterdam and experiencing the city from within. I’ve already had the chance to live abroad, including several years in Ireland, so I’m used to moving to a new country, adapting to new environments and enjoying the experience of living somewhere different. I now work remotely in marketing, which gives me the flexibility to work from Amsterdam while continuing with my current job. I’ve visited Amsterdam several times and already have a lovely circle of friends there, so the city feels quite familiar to me. In fact, the first time I visited, I remember thinking: “One day, I’ll live here.” After having the experience of living abroad and feeling ready for a new adventure, I think that time might finally be now! I’m an easy-going, respectful and tidy person. I really enjoy having a clean and peaceful place to come back to, and I always make sure to take good care of wherever I stay. There’s a Spanish saying I really like: “A tidy home, a peaceful mind” and it’s definitely something I try to live by. I’m also happy to provide references from previous landlords or rental agencies, as well as proof of savings and employment if needed. I understand that trusting someone with your property is important, so I’m more than happy to provide any information that gives you peace of mind. Outside of work, I love travelling, discovering new places and finding cosy cafés to try different coffees. I also enjoy going for runs and exploring the city on foot, so I’m looking forward to getting to know Amsterdam beyond the typical tourist spots. Hi! Ik ben Hadassah, ben 28 jaar en ik kom uit omgeving Heerhugowaard! Op dit moment woon ik tijdelijk bij mijn ouders in Assendelft totdat ik ergens anders een plekje heb gevonden om te wonen. Sinds mijn relatie breuk afgelopen zomer ben ik opzoek naar een fijn woonplek. Ik heb samengewoond in Friesland, maar mijn thuis is toch vooral in Alkmaar/Heerhugowaard! Ik werk in de zorg, als verpleegkundige in een revalidatiecentrum in Oudorp. Ik werk dus wisselende diensten. Verder ben ik rustig, opgeruimd en netjes. Ik vind het leuk om samen dingen te doen in huis, maar vind het ook heerlijk om mij even terug te trekken. Een plekje voor mezelf is op dit moment een grote wens en eigenlijk een must om weer gezond verder te kunnen. Mijn kinderen van 16 en 18 jaar blijven in de voor hen vertrouwde woonomgeving bij hun vader in Chaam wonen en zullen enkel op bezoek komen (niet inwonen bij mij dus). Zij blijven gezien hun leeftijd het liefst in hun vertrouwde leefomgeving, in de buurt van hun vrienden en activiteiten. Ik werk zelf als ambulant begeleidster, bij mensen aan huis die zorg nodig hebben. Dit is mijn passie. Ik ben makkelijk in de omgang met mensen en hou van een praatje hier en daar. Huren heel graag in omgeving Breda of Oosterhout, aangezien dit niet heel ver rijden is van mijn zoons, waardoor ik ze geregeld kan bezoeken. Ook qua werk zit ik dan overal dichtbij. Verder hou ik van zwemmen, powerwalken en lezen, zo kom ik tot rust. Huren liefst per direct of zo snel als mogelijk. Mijn dank is alvast heel erg groot!!!! Groetjes, Marjolein
