Hi everyone! I’m Nils, 24, and about to start my Master’s degree (Modern and Contemporary History) in Utrecht after wrapping up my Bachelor’s in Political Science and History. I’ve spent the last 10 years working in gastronomy as a bartender and waiter – first in my father's restaurant back in Nuremberg and later while studying in Mainz. It keeps me on my toes, makes me easy to talk to, and taught me how to actually keep things clean without being weird about it. Having lived in WGs for the past 4 years, I know how shared flats work: I completely respect personal space, but I’m always down for cooking together, grabbing a cold beer, or having a good chat in the kitchen (I also love cooking for people while trying out new recipes). When I’m not studying or working, I’m usually into photography, music, and politics. I’ve been more or less active in grassroots politics for years, through which I’ve met incredible people and gained new perspectives, keeping me pretty open-minded and engaged with what’s going on around me. Ik ben geboren en getogen in Utrecht en ben van plan nooit meer weg te gaan uit deze mooie stad. Ik woon momenteel vlak bij het Spoorwegmuseum, waar ik een huis deel met één iemand anders. Omdat er geen gemeenschappelijke ruimte is en ik vanwege mijn nieuwe baan meer behoefte heb aan rust, privacy en een fijne plek om thuis te komen na een drukke werkdag, ben ik op zoek naar een schone en rustige woonruimte voor mezelf. In mijn vrije tijd houd ik van lezen, wandelen en koken. Daarnaast sport ik meerdere keren per week en fiets ik veel, zowel in de sportschool als buiten. Ik leef rustig, netjes en hecht veel waarde aan een prettig en opgeruimd huis. Samengevat ben ik op zoek naar een eigen, nette woonruimte met meer privacy nu ik aan een nieuwe baan ben begonnen.
