Hi, I’m moving from Germany to Delft or The Hague to start my master’s in Applied Mathematics at TU Delft. Outside university, I’m really into sports. At the moment that mostly means running and cycling, but I’m generally up for trying pretty much anything and have been thinking about picking up football again. I’m also a big fan of spontaneous plans, whether that means going for a run, heading to the park, cooking dinner together or grabbing a beer somewhere. I like learning new things and can easily get drawn into a good discussion or some random topic I suddenly want to understand. Recently I’ve also picked up reading again after some peer pressure from friends, and I’m actually enjoying it. I’m using the rest of August to learn as much Dutch as I can. I’m still a beginner, but I’d like to improve quickly once I’m living there and can actually use it every day. I’ve already lived in a shared apartment during my bachelor’s, so I know what it’s like to share a home with other people. Ideally, I’d like to live somewhere where people occasionally cook together, hang out or spontaneously do something, rather than just sharing a kitchen and never seeing each other. At the same time, I’m perfectly happy doing my own thing as well. Right now I’m mainly hoping to find a place where I can settle in before the semester starts.

Ik zit nu in een woning in Overvecht met 1 andere. Ik vind het erg leuk om in Utrecht te wonen, omdat alles zo makkelijk fietsbaar is en ik dicht bij mijn vrienden ben. Ik ben ordelijk, heb een vast contract als software developer en ik ben een chille guy. Ik hoop redelijk snel te verhuizen.
