Hello there! :) I’m Stella, 25, Italian, and currently living in France, where I’ve just completed my Master’s degree in Economics. I’ll be moving to the Netherlands in October to start a new Master, and I’m currently looking for a room in Leiden, The Hague, or the surrounding areas, with a budget of up to €800/month. I’m a sociable and community-oriented person and I really enjoy having a nice atmosphere at home. I like cooking and sharing meals (vegetarian ones, specifically!), but I’m equally happy if everyone prefers to do their own thing. I’m easygoing and adaptable, and I’m used to living with other people. I’m respectful of shared spaces and consider myself clean and tidy. Outside of work, I love staying active and doing sports, spending time with friends, whether that's going out or just relaxing together, and I enjoy the occasional small weekend trip too. Born and raised in Jerez de la Frontera, I am Spanish and have lived there until I was 18, when I went to study in the United States for a year. I have been living in The Hague for two years now, but my connection to the Netherlands goes back over eight years, thanks to a close family friendship in Amsterdam. I speak Spanish and English fluently, and I already have a good command of Dutch, although I intend to keep improving it until I can speak it with fluency. For the time being, I plan to continue studying for my master’s degree in the Netherlands, as I feel very at home in this country and its culture.
