Een woning huren, omgeven door natuur, is de perfecte plek voor mij. Ik ben een actieve en gezonde persoon. Ik doe dagelijks aan yoga en leid een gezond en ecologisch leven. Gedurende mijn drie jaar in Thailand heb ik in een huurhuis gewoond van een Thais echtpaar van 70 jaar dat geen Engels sprak, en de taalbarrière was nooit een probleem. Ze waren bijna als ouders voor mij en we onderhouden nog steeds contact. Deze ervaring heeft me in staat gesteld me gemakkelijk aan te passen aan nieuwe situaties en snel de cultuur en taal van het land dat zijn deuren voor mij opent te leren. Ik werk nu al zes maanden bij PostNL en ben gewend aan discipline en fysieke inspanning. Ik ben niet een roker, wat ik als een extra waarde beschouw voor elke woning. Ik geef er de voorkeur aan alleen te wonen, omdat ik erg schoon en ordelijk ben. Wanneer ik een woning deel, eindig ik altijd met het schoonmaken voor mijn huisgenoten, en dat is geen aangename situatie voor mij. Daarnaast heb ik een grote interesse om meer te leren over de Nederlandse cultuur en taal. Sinds ik zes maanden geleden naar Nederland ben gekomen, heb ik niet de gelegenheid gehad om de taal te leren vanwege mijn werkomgeving en woonomgeving, omdat ik altijd omringd ben door buitenlanders. Ik ben erg enthousiast om te beginnen met het leren van de Nederlandse gewoonten en taal en me zo snel mogelijk te integreren. Hello everyone! My name is Nicole, I'm 25 years old and I'm originally from Italy. In the last couple of years I've lived in different countries for studying and working, including Japan and Australia, and France and since February of this year I've been doing a Master in Politics, Economies and Societies of Asia at Leiden University. As I'm studying in Leiden and working part-time in Den Haag, I am looking for a room in the area :) I am a friendly person, I enjoy chatting and hanging out with my flatmates, but I of course also value personal space. I am very clean and always make sure common spaces are tidy and ready for the next person to use. In my free time I enjoy going to the beach, markets and cafes with my friends, as well as playing tennis and other sports. I am also attending a Dutch course in Leiden every week :)

My partner and I are excited to begin this new chapter as expats relocating from India and become part of the Amsterdam community. We're currently searching for a furnished 1–2 bedroom apartment starting August 26, 2026, with a budget of €2,000–€2,500. Ideally, we'd prefer a place with registration and a long-term contract, but we're also open to temporary housing for around 2 to 3months if that helps us settle in comfortably while we search for something more permanent. We're flexible on location, as long as the commute to Bijlmer Arena is manageable by public transport, ideally within 30 minutes or so. Areas like Amstelveen, Diemen, Amsterdam Zuid, Nieuw-West, Haarlem, Hoofddorp, Aalsmeer, and Heemstede would all work well for us. A bit about us: we're a quiet, tidy married couple who enjoy exploring new cities, staying active, and building a comfortable home wherever we go. We both value a clean, respectful living space and believe we'd be reliable, low-maintenance tenants who take excellent care of the property. Since this will be our first rental in the Netherlands, we don't yet have a local landlord reference.
