I can be a little shy at first, but once I get comfortable, I’m really easygoing and chill. As a roommate, I’m looking for people who respect each other’s privacy and personal space, but are also up for a quick chat or hanging out now and then. I am particularly motivated to secure this housing because having a stable and comfortable place to live would allow me to fully focus on my studies. Hello there! I'm a self-employed multidisciplinary creative professional (photographer/creative director/media background) who relocated to the Netherlands from the U.S. in February. I have a valid visa & residence permit, a business registered with the KvK, a growing network of Dutch friends and a sense of community, having previously spent extended stays in the NL twice in two years. This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I am in LOVE with Het Gooi region, where I'm and am temporarily staying. I know every trail, every neighborhood, farm and public transport access from Bussum, Huizen and Blaricum to Laren and Hilversum. I'm aware of the housing shortage, and will happily consider any availability within a 90-minute commute by public transportation to Amsterdam, where much of my work seems to be. I have a green thumb, love people, adore animals, art, am newly enthusiastic about golf, opera, and even the raindrops most complain about - there's serenity in gray days, too!
