Me and my boyfriend Jesper are a happy Swedish couple, 25 and 29 years old, who have been together for almost six years and have lived together for two years in Stockholm. Emma holds a MSc in Medical Biotechnology and has recently accepted an offer with Johnson & Johnson in Leiden for the upcoming year, starting this autumn. Jesper holds a MSc in Industrial and Environmental Biotechnology and is actively looking for new professional opportunities in the Netherlands. Our combined current gross monthly income is approximately €6,000, with Emma’s new employment providing a stable source of income as we relocate to the Netherlands. For both of us, our fixed-term positions in Stockholm came to an end in August, which gave us the perfect opportunity to make the move we had been considering and relocate to the Netherlands together. The new job opportunity in Leiden for Emma gave us the chance of relocating from Stockholm to the Netherlands this fall. After only a short time in The Hague we both have grown fond of the city with its beautiful surroundings. The two of us are now looking for a stable long-term home in The Hague where we can settle down and build our life together. We would be very happy to make this apartment our home and would treat it with the same care and respect as we would our own!
