My name’s Ruben, I’m Dutch but grew up in England, I’m 27 years old, working part-time as I’m finishing my final year of studies in Architecture. I’ve been living in Amsterdam for 4 years already and need to move out of my apartment by July 30th. I’m pretty sociable and enjoy hanging out in the evenings, over a beer or wine or whatever, whenever I’m not working on my studies. I have a busy schedule during the week and sometimes work late, but in my spare time I enjoy playing tennis, football and going to concerts or an exhibition. I’m generally pretty chilled. During the weekend, I make some plans with friends, go to exhibitions or have a relaxed night in with good food. I’ve always enjoyed hanging out with my previous flatmates and enjoy getting to know them. My name is Giulia; I was born and raised in Genoa, Italy. Ever since I was a child, I’ve always dreamed of moving abroad to build a life in a new, international, and open-minded country. In recent years, I’ve managed to turn this dream into a concrete plan, deeply convinced that the Netherlands is the perfect place for me. What attracts me to this country is the people's open-mindedness and the balanced, independent lifestyle. I’ve already visited the country twice, including a cultural exchange where I got a taste of an environment where I see myself growing and studying. The main reason for my move would be the psychology program I’d like to pursue at the University of Leiden, one of the best in Europe. In addition, the campus is located next to the ice skating rink—the sport of my dreams, which I am unable to practice in Italy. So living in Leiden would allow me to study the subject I love and practice the sport I’ve always been passionate about, but have never been able to pursue competitively. For all these reasons, finding a home in the Netherlands is not just a logistical necessity, but a way to realize my life plan. I wish to settle in a quiet and welcoming environment, and as a responsible, organized, and tidy person, it would be an honor to take care of the home as if it were my own. I'm 24 years old and I'm a jazz musician, and this year I'll be studying at Codarts on an Erasmus program ☺️ To give a little context about who I am and where I come from: I'm from Spain and I've been a musician for more than ten years. Throughout my life, I've learned to play a few instruments (saxophone, piano, flute, bass, etc.), but my favorite is definitely the saxophone. I'm currently studying in Valencia, but I'm from a nearby city called Castellón (small and pretty), where you can be at the beach in 20 minutes by bike and where it seems like it's almost always spring. I am passionate about art, and I love making plans that have to do with it (visiting museums, seeing concerts, painting, designing... basically anything). I enjoy nature and making plans for the outdoors, I love animas, meeting new people, going out, going to the gym, going to a bar for a drink, among other things. But most of the time I like to be by myself at home. I love having time for myself, and probably my favorite thing in the world is to stay at home with a blanket and read, watch a movie, listen to music, or just relax. That's why I think it's very important to have a quiet and healthy living enviroment. And finally, I consider myself a very tidy and clean person who is easy to live with.
