I’m Lucy and I am 23 years old (turning 24 in February). I'm originally from a small village in central Germany, but I've been living in Bonn for the last four years. I just finished my bachelor’s in Archaeology there and got accepted into a research master’s at Leiden University. I’ve been living in a shared flat with two roommates in Bonn, and we got along super well. We did fun things together now and then but also really respected each other's space. So I'm pretty used to shared living, being considerate, and sticking to cleaning schedules :) About me: I have a bit of a mix between “grandma hobbies” and more active things. I love crafting, crocheting, and reading, but I also enjoy running, swimming, dancing, and going to the gym. I love food, so I’d definitely be up for cooking together and having a chill evening every now and then. I’m not a huge party person, but I do like going out for drinks with friends occasionally. I also love traveling. I like to see new places and roam the world. I can't really tell how exhausting my dergree at Leiden University will be, but I do need to keep my grades up for my scholarship:)) So I'll probably spend a lot of time at my faculty or the library. On my days off, I really like to stay home though.

Ik ga van 1 feb - 1 jul 2026 mijn minor Forensic Chemistry doen aan de Avans in Breda, dus zoek ik een tijdelijke kamer! Op het moment woon ik op kamers in Enschede waar ik nu anderhalf jaar woon. Ik vind het altijd gezellig om samen met huisgenoten te eten en te koken, en om af en toe spontaan gezellig een spelletje en/of een drankje te doen. Ook sport ik veel op het moment, ik tennis, zwem en hardloop regelmatig en zou het dan ook leuk vinden als ik tijdelijk bij een sportclub in de buurt terecht zou kunnen! Afgelopen september ben ik begonnen met de studie bachelor BIT aan de UT. Ik heb nu een kamer op de campus in onderhuur. Daarom ben ik op zoek naar een kamer in een huis met een gezellige sfeer, waar zowel tijd is voor studeren als iets samendoen of te praten. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik meestal actief bezig. Ik hockey bij de H1 van DHC op de campus. Ik ben ook betrokken bij de eerste jaar commissie van DHC en organiseer het team- weekend met een paar andere teamgenoten. Daarnaast vind ik het ook leuk om met vrienden af te spreken om samen iets te drinken, film te kijken of een spelletje te spelen. Als huisgenoot ben ik sociaal, netjes en altijd in voor een praatje of een activiteit bijvoorbeeld een huisavond of huisweekend en een gezamenlijke maaltijd. Ik maak regelmatig avondeten voor mijn huis. De laatste tijd heb ik veel gekookt, omdat ik eerder klaar was met mijn tentamens dan de andere huisgenoten.
