I’ve already had the chance to live abroad, including several years in Ireland, so I’m used to moving to a new country, adapting to new environments and enjoying the experience of living somewhere different. I now work remotely in marketing, which gives me the flexibility to work from Amsterdam while continuing with my current job. I’ve visited Amsterdam several times and already have a lovely circle of friends there, so the city feels quite familiar to me. In fact, the first time I visited, I remember thinking: “One day, I’ll live here.” After having the experience of living abroad and feeling ready for a new adventure, I think that time might finally be now! There’s a Spanish saying I really like: “A tidy home, a peaceful mind” and it’s definitely something I try to live by.
