I am a 19 years old male from Japan. I'm so excited to move to Amsterdam this September to start my Bachelor’s programme in Communication Science (taught in English) at the University of Amsterdam . Living Habits & Experience: Prior to university, I was in a Japanese secondary school dorm for 6 years. This has made me very accustomed to shared living. I fully understand the importance of strict hygiene, cleanliness in common areas (kitchen/bathroom) and respect house rules. Lifestyle & Personality: I'm an easy-going, friendly, and responsible person. I enjoy chatting and sometimes cooking together, but I also like my personal space and a quiet environment. I am not a “party person” and prefer a calm and peaceful home as my studies will be my main focus in Amsterdam. I do not smoke and I do not have pets.
