I'm originally from South Africa, where I worked in medical device regulation before moving to the Netherlands in 2023. I've been in Utrecht since then, so this would be a local move rather than a fresh start, I know the area and I'm settled here. Outside work I'm at the gym a few times a week and I walk a lot; it's how I get away from a screen. The rest of my free time mostly goes into programming , I'm usually building something, learning a new tool, or taking a system apart to see how it works. As a housemate I'm tidy, self-sufficient and easy to live alongside. I cook properly, clean up after myself, and I'm not someone who fills the house with people. I like coming home to a calm place at the end of the day. I'm not a student, which in practice means a steady income, a predictable weekday routine, and no plans to move out at the end of a semester. Hoi!! My name is Conor, I am 34 years old from Dublin, Ireland. I have been living in the Netherlands for over 4 years now, 2 of which I was studying in the UU. I am now working full time in Amersfoort in corporate responsibility for a textile company. I live in Lombok, Utrecht and currently working on learning Dutch. I would consider myself a very sociable person, whos outgoing and has a bit of a personality so youll always get a chat out of me. Youll also get quiet from me, I value my personal space and down time whenever I am not out and about with friends or tending to my garden.
