Hallo! Onze namen zijn Damiën en Hannah en we zijn van plan om te verhuizen naar Utrecht in mei/juni 2026. We zijn nu 2 jaar aan het daten. Damiën is Nederlands en Hannah komt oorspronkelijk uit Zuid Afrika maar heeft inmiddels een permanente verblijfsvergunning. Wij zijn beiden studenten. So a bit about Hannah: I moved from South Africa to the Netherlands in 2020 with my family and completed high school at an international school in Amsterdam. Because I have lived in the Netherlands for over five years, I have my Dutch permanent residency and am eligible for DUO financing. I then moved to Groningen in 2023 where I studied a bachelor of science in Human Geography and Planning at the Rijks Universiteit. I’ve lived alone for the duration of my time in Groningen on a houseboat (see attached a reference letter from my current/past landlord!) I am on track to graduate from the RUG in May and am going to continue my studies at the University of Utrecht where I will do my masters at the Faculty of Geosciences. Goedendag, Ik ben deeltijd PhD-student aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, bij de faculteit filosofie. Ik heb een dubbele nationaliteit, Duits en Zuid-Afrikaans, en woon al ongeveer twee jaar in Gouda (Zuid-Holland). Daarvoor heb ik in Brussel (ongeveer 7 jaar) en in Berlijn (ongeveer 1,5 jaar) gestudeerd en gewerkt. Gouda bevalt me goed, het was perfect om mijn proefschrift te schrijven, maar de verhuurder verkoopt het huis en ik moet dus vóór augustus van dit jaar verhuizen.
