I'm looking for a studio or a room in Amsterdam or close enough to the city to commute daily. I can guarantee I am financially secure and pay rent on time. I quit my job as a high-school English teacher in Prague to move to Amsterdam to finish my studies just as my husband is moving to the UK for a position as a researcher in mathemathics. I will be working part-time to support myself during my studies and will be sharing expenses with my husband. I am friendly, quiet and tidy. I like to cook and bake and share the results. Outside of English lit, I enjoy making art, watching movies, photography, going to galleries and concerts, or just wandering around the city. About me: alongside my studies I work as an IT administrator (it's remote, so it continues after I move). Outside of that I'm into philosophy, I read a lot, and I like long walks to clear my head. I have no pets. Financially, my parents act as guarantors, and I can provide proof of enrolment, a guarantor statement with income documents and bank statements immediately. A two-month deposit is no problem. I don't speak Dutch yet, but I'm starting a course at the university in September. Until then I'm happy to communicate in English or German.
