Ik zoek een leuke woning in Groningen, ik zit in een tussenjaar :)

Ik ben Mara, 22 jaar en woon momenteel in Nijmegen. Momenteel die doe ik een tussenjaar na een Bachelor Psychologie. Tijdens mijn studententijd stond ik altijd open voor contact met medestudenten. Zo nam ik deel aan een studentenvereniging gericht op theater en deed ik mee aan verschillende cursussen in sport zoals badminton en boksen. Met vrienden vind ik het erg leuk goede gesprekken te voeren, te wandelen en iets te drinken in een café. Zelf sport ik graag, houd ik van tekenen, lezen en series en films kijken. Ook werk ik al anderhalf jaar bij een mentale support lijn waarbij ik emotionele ondersteuning bied aan jongvolwassenen. Tijdens mijn tussenjaar ben ik gaan reizen door verschillende landen in Europa en doe ik vrijwilligerswerk waarbij ik in contact kom met mensen van verschillende religies en culturen. Zo werk ik werkte ik in een boeddhistisch centrum en een vluchtelingenkamp. Dit sluit ook aan bij de master die ik wil gaan doen in Groningen; Applied Social Psychology. Daarnaast heb ik ook allerlei verschillende sporten uitgeprobeerd zoals zeilen, go karting en duiken. Ik zou mezelf beschrijven als iemand die open staat voor contact met anderen, nieuwsgierig, hardwerkend en betrouwbaar is. In verband met mijn master zoek ik vanaf uiterlijk september een kamer in Groningen :)

My name is Anna, I’m 19 years old and originally from Dortmund, Germany. I’m currently studying Psychology at Radboud University and looking for a new comfortable place to call home in Nijmegen with friendly housemates, a welcoming atmosphere, and a good location near the university and city. Growing up with two younger sisters, with whom I have a very close relationship, taught me a lot about being considerate, patient and developing strong social skills. I enjoy playing tennis, going to the gym, but also spending time with friends in Nijmegen, getting coffee together, going to the Waal beach when the weather is nice, exploring new bars or sometimes dancing the whole night to good 2000s or 80s bangers💃🏼🪩 I also really enjoy cooking and love trying out new recipes from all over the world. During my gap year in Asia last year I discovered a lot of new food and flavors, so I sometimes like recreating Asian dishes at home as well. Traveling is generally something I kinda found my passion with, exploring new cultures, traditions seeing beautiful nature and meeting new people :) A little hobby of mine is doing pictures with the old camera of my dad and capturing my favorite moments with it. I currently work at Poke Perfect in the city, which I really enjoy. Both at work and while playing tennis I’m often surrounded by Dutch people, so I’ve been trying to learn Dutch step by step and Duolingo is also reminding me everyday🤪. For me, a good balance in a shared apartment is really important: having time and space for yourself, but also enjoying spontaneous chats in the kitchen, movie nights, cooking together or just having a funny evening together. Cleanliness is also something that’s important to me. I like keeping shared spaces tidy and making sure everyone feels comfortable in the house. I’m flexible with the move-in date and would also happily move in immediately.

Once my freelance visa is approved, I will be working as a groomer five days a week. I plan to work at a salon where I can bring my dogs with me, so they will not be left alone at home. Hoi ik ben Brechtje, ik word in augustus 18 en ben geboren en getogen in Amsterdam. Ik ga bij de Hanze hogeschool fysiotherapie studeren. Ik sport erg veel, zo doe ik hardlopen en kickboksen. Ik hou er erg van om te schilderen en in het algemeen veel van kunst en muziek wat me helpt tot mezelf te komen wat ik vaak nodig heb. Daarnaast ben ik graag met vrienden en gaan we vaak naar barretjes of doen drankjes bij een van ons thuis. Ook werk ik in de horeca wat ik erg leuk vind en al 2 jaar doe. Als ik in Groningen ga werken ben ik ook weer van plan in de horeca te gaan werken. Ik ben opzoek naar een woonplek met huisgenoten die net als ik houden van een schoon en (bijna altijd) opgeruimd huis. Ik hoor graag terug van u/jullie :)

Ik zal volgend jaar mijn eerste jaar masters werktuigbouwkunde af hebben gemaakt aan de TU/E in de Robotica sectie. Voordat ik mijn studie afmaak ga ik eerst een jaar aan exoskeletten werken bij project march (een dream team van Delft). Dat is een full-time positie. Om dit te doen ben ik op zoek naar een woning in de omgeving. Ik ben een relatief rustige huisgenoot maar ben enthousiast te krijgen om te kaarten of bordspellen te spelen. Normaliter hou ik ervan om mijn omgeving netjes te houden. Naast boulderen en spelletjes hou ik verder ook van trektochten, een beetje programeren voor hobby, en soms een boek openslaan.

I speak Dutch, English and a bit of French, and I’m looking for a nice house with a good atmosphere. In my free time I enjoy a lot of creative and outdoor hobbies. I listen to a lot of music (especially bands like The Cure and The Smiths, but honestly almost anything), I like photography, and I enjoy cooking from time to time. I also really like spending time outdoors, whether that’s camping, hiking or going on bikepacking trips. Besides that, I also spend quite a bit of time running, going to the gym and cycling (road cycling/MTB). I’d describe myself as a calm, motivated and tidy student. I enjoy a cozy and social atmosphere at home, but I’m not really a big party person.
