Hoi! Ik ben Egbert Menno, 23 jaar, en vanaf september begin ik aan de master Aerospace Engineering aan de TU Delft. Hiervoor heb ik Applied Physics gestudeerd in Groningen en daarom ben ik op zoek naar een fijne kamer in Rotterdam of Delft. In mijn vrije tijd ga ik graag naar de sportschool, reis ik graag, maak ik af en toe foto’s en spreek ik graag af met vrienden. De afgelopen jaren ben ik actief geweest bij Top Dutch Solar Racing, waar ik samen met het team een zonneauto heb ontwikkeld voor de Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australië. Het was een unieke ervaring waar ik met veel plezier op terugkijk. Als huisgenoot ben ik rustig, sociaal en netjes. Ik vind het belangrijk dat de gezamenlijke ruimtes schoon en opgeruimd blijven en draag daar graag mijn steentje aan bij. Daarnaast lijkt het me gezellig om af en toe samen te eten, een drankje te doen of gewoon even bij te praten, terwijl ik het ook prima vind als iedereen zijn eigen ding doet. Ik ben op zoek naar een gezellig huis waar iedereen respectvol met elkaar omgaat en waar ruimte is voor zowel gezelligheid als ieders eigen leven. I'm an MSC Student of Food Engineering at Politecnico di Milano (Italy), and I'm about to spend six months for an Erasmus Exchange Program at Wageningen University & Research institute. I'll start the program on next mid August, just to take part also to the Introductory Days for incoming students, and I'll finish by the end of January. I'm looking for an accomodation to stay during these 6 months and I do not need anything fancy or particular. My basic requirement is a room furnished with a mattress and a desk to study, which are the only things that I'm not able to carry with me from Italy. In general, I'm looking for a room characterized as follows: well kept and clean place, room as silent as possible to let me focus better while studying, university easily reachable by bike or by public transport, and not too many roommates (but I can relax on this last one). I also like social life, but I generally give more importance to my studies. I enjoy socializing with roommates, such as through talking about the culture in different countries, playing cardgames or videogames together, or cooking. Yet, when it comes to going outside too often (and coming back late), hosting unknown friends or having parties at home, this just stresses me a lot, especially next to the exam sessions. Hence, I try to keep a reasonable balance between studying and socializing.
