Hi! My name is Andrea, I'm 30, Italian, and I'm moving to Amsterdam in July/August to start a Master's in Global Cross-Media Cultures at UvA this September. I work as a ghostwriter — commissioned biographies, mostly — which means I work from home, keep my own hours, and am generally a quiet presence around the house. No wild schedules, no noise, no mess. I spent years in publishing and film production before going independent, so I tend to be pretty organized and self-sufficient. I'm leaving Italy to get back into academia, pick up a side job, and be closer to my girlfriend who's already in the Netherlands. As a flatmate, I'm calm, tidy, and genuinely respectful of shared spaces — the kind of person who cleans up after himself and doesn't need to be asked twice. From May until the end of August — Utrecht will be my place to live and work. Then, this Swede will most probably head back to the far north.
