Hii, ik ben Maud 😊 Ik ben 23 jaar oud en studeer momenteel de master Global Markets and Local Creativities aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam (een beetje te vergelijken met politiek en entrepreneurship 😉). Na mijn bachelor Liberal Arts and Sciences aan de University College Groningen ben ik nu bezig met een tweejarige master, waarvoor ik vanaf augustus/september op zoek ben naar een kamer in (de omgeving van) Rotterdam. Ik ben geboren in Amsterdam, maar heb ook een groot deel van mijn jeugd in Zweden en China gewoond. Toen ik 11 was verhuisde mijn familie eerst naar Zweden en later naar Shanghai, waardoor ik ben opgegroeid in een internationale omgeving en al vanaf jonge leeftijd Engelstalig onderwijs heb gevolgd. Mijn ouders en jongere broertjes wonen tegenwoordig in Malmö, waar ik deze zomer ook verblijf. In mijn vrije tijd sport ik graag, ga ik naar culturele evenementen en spreek ik af met vrienden. Tijdens mijn studententijd in Groningen heb ik gevoetbald bij een vriendenteam van de universiteit en gewerkt naast mijn studie. Tegenwoordig besteed ik veel tijd aan mijn master, die behoorlijk intensief is, waardoor ik regelmatig in de bibliotheek te vinden ben. Daarom ben ik ook een rustige huisgenoot die waarde hecht aan een fijne en prettige woonsfeer. Momenteel verblijf ik dus in Malmö, waardoor ik niet altijd in staat ben om fysiek langs te komen voor een bezichtiging. Een online kennismaking of videocall zou daarom ideaal zijn. Groetjes, Maud

hello my name is Lauri, I am 19 years old and I am from Slovakia. In September I will be starting my studies at Radboud University in Nijmegen. I'll be studying English language and culture and I plan to focus on my studies while I explore my surroundings and meet new people, I also have working experience and plan on working part-time besides my studies. In my free time I really enjoy photography, design, staying in and watching movies, shows, or reading books. I enjoy social outings but I also appreciate some quiet time for myself. I am looking for a comfortable room where I can settle down for at least a few months (If more is possible that is great, but if not that is okay too) until I get to know the city and people around me. I do not smoke and I do not have any pets either. For the past four years, since I was 15, I was attending a Secondary vocational school in Slovakia and because of that I have been living in a dormitory most of the time. Hello! I'm a female 19 years old (soon turning 20) South Korean student, going into my second year of Psychology at the University of Amsterdam. I’m looking for a long-term stay (at least half a year). I’m clean and quiet, a non-smoker, non-drinker, and no pets. My current housing contract ends in 10th August, so I’d like to find a place before then. Things I do: draw, read, exercise, teach Korean. My usual schedule: go to campus every weekday for lecture and practicals, go to library to study, get groceries, come back home and relax. Hai! Ik ben Liske, nu nog 17 jaar en vanaf komend studiejaar ga ik Chemische Technologie studeren. Op dit moment woon ik nog in Brabant, waar ik ook actief ben bij scouting. Daarnaast heb ik jarenlang atletiek gedaan, dus ik ben graag actief bezig. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik ook veel met muziek bezig: ik speel slagwerk in een orkest. Geen zorgen trouwens — ik ben niet van plan een drumstel mee te nemen naar mijn kamer 😉. Het is vooral melodisch slagwerk wat ik doe. Verder hou ik van lezen, tekenen en een gezellige bordspelavond (ik heb toegang tot een bordspelbibliotheek van meer dan 800 spellen). Hallo allemaal, Graag stel ik me even voor. Mijn naam is Damian, 18 jaar en ik kom uit Arnhem. Ik begin in september met Technische Natuurkunde. Die studie past goed bij mij, vanwege de kleinschalige groep en het Nederlandstalige onderwijs. Ook vanwege de locatie en rustige omgeving is dit voor mij de beste keuze. Dat samenwonen in een studentenhuis gaat zeker goed komen. Ik ben een gezellige en relaxte jongen die altijd graag een handje wil helpen. Ik hou van koken, muziek luisteren en maken, kaart- en bordspelletjes en gamen met anderen. Ik zoek een goede afwisseling tussen gezamenlijke activiteiten met m’n huisgenoten, maar ook rust en ruimte voor mezelf en mijn studie. Mijn grootste hobby is zeilen (in een zwaardboot). In de zomer ben ik zeilinstructeur op het Zuidlaar-dermeer. Verder ben ik actief bij de Scouting. Buiten zijn, vuurtje stoken, pizza bakken in een zelfgemaakte buitenoven. Ik draai 1 of 2 keer in de maand mee als welpenleiding. En last but not least, speel ik een klassiek houtblaasinstrument, nl. hobo. Daarmee wil ik in een van de studenten-orkesten gaan spelen. Afgelopen jaar heb ik een tussenjaar genomen. Ik heb flink wat uren gewerkt bij de Plus, ben voorzitter geweest van het AIO (Arnhems Interscholair Orkest) en heb ervaring opgedaan als welpenleider bij de Scouting. Heerlijk om een heel jaar geen druk van school te hebben, maar nu ben ik wel écht toe aan studeren, vrienden maken en veel lol hebben op mijn eigen plek! Groeten, Damian
