For nearly the past 10 years, I’ve lived in shared flats and always had great experiences sharing a home with interesting people from diverse ages, backgrounds, nationalities, and genders. I’m happy to provide references from previous landlord. I’m looking for a long-term rental with a budget of up to €1,100 per month, prefer a room with a desk for work, and am ready to move in by June 15th with all my paperwork prepared. Sharing a home feels best when I can openly talk with my roommates and when it feels like a cozy family. Everyone should have their own space and life, but sharing dinners or breakfasts on the weekend with good food or going for a swim at the beach, or a concert, would be wonderful. Hello there! I'm a self-employed multidisciplinary creative professional (photographer/creative director/media background) who relocated to the Netherlands from the U.S. in February. I have a valid visa & residence permit, a business registered with the KvK, a growing network of Dutch friends and a sense of community, having previously spent extended stays in the NL twice in two years. This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I am in LOVE with Het Gooi region, where I'm and am temporarily staying. I know every trail, every neighborhood, farm and public transport access from Bussum, Huizen and Blaricum to Laren and Hilversum. I'm also familiar with Naarden, LOVE Baarn, Hoorn, Haarlem, Amersfoot and Den Haag - where I have friends. I'm aware of the housing shortage, and will happily consider any availability within a 90-minute commute by public transportation to Amsterdam, where much of my work seems to be. I have an excellent rental history and personal references and I care for my space. I have a green thumb, love people, adore animals, art, am newly enthusiastic about golf, opera, and even the raindrops most complain about - there's serenity in gray days, too!
