I have been living in a DUWO renting studio since June, a short-stay rent for international newcomers, and I must leave until November. I have previously lived in the Netherlands for six months during my PhD. I am organised, reliable, I have no pets, and I don’t smoke. The rest of my free time mostly goes into programming , I'm usually building something, learning a new tool, or taking a system apart to see how it works. As a housemate I'm tidy, self-sufficient and easy to live alongside. I cook properly, clean up after myself, and I'm not someone who fills the house with people. I like coming home to a calm place at the end of the day. I'm not a student, which in practice means a steady income, a predictable weekday routine, and no plans to move out at the end of a semester.
