In September begin ik aan mijn Masters Natuurkunde in Leiden en ik ben dan ook op zoek naar een nieuwe woning. Ik ben van plan ongeveer 2 jaar te verblijven en op zoek naar een fijne woning voor deze tijd. Kamer in een studentenhuis of een studio zijn voor mij allebei een optie! Ik kan goed overweg met anderen maar red me ook prima alleen.

At first I'm usually a bit quiet, but once I get to know people I really enjoy having a good relationship with my roommates, sharing a chat or doing something together from time to time. At the same time, I think everyone should have their own space and privacy. I've been living independently in Madrid since 2017 and have shared a home with several different people over the years. Lyly was my longest-term housemate, as we lived together for almost nine years, and she and Irma, one of my first housemates, became very close friends and eventually like sisters to me. Over the years, I've also shared the home with my close friend Adri for a while, which was a good reminder that living with a friend is not quite the same as just hanging out with one. I've also lived with Marina, with whom I had a friendly and respectful relationship as housemates, and later with Lyly's partner Edu, who became a very close friend through living together. So I've experienced quite different kinds of shared living, with people I was already close to as well as people I got to know through sharing a home, and I'm comfortable adapting to different personalities and dynamics. Outside work I enjoy history, nature, travelling, reading and trying new things, especially sports. I'm a tidy person (without being obsessed about it) and I like a home where everyone feels comfortable and respects each other. I was very lucky with my previous housemates in Madrid, so I'm hoping to find a similar atmosphere here. For me, a house is much more than just a place to sleep.
