Hey, so a bit of context, I'm 24, finishing up my engineering degree at RWTH Aachen and moving over from September for an internship at ASML. I just want to be upfront that I'm a low-maintenance guy who treats a home with respect, keeping things clean and the noise down. Realistically I'll be pretty busy with work most of the week, and on weekends I'm usually in Maastricht seeing friends, so the room won't see much wear and tear. I speak German, English, and Bulgarian, so language isn't an issue, and I've lived in a few different cities already so settling in somewhere new isn't really a problem for me. I'm someone who gets a lot of energy from being around people, whether that's at uni, a rugby training session, a night out, or just chatting over dinner. At the same time, I'm just as happy disappearing into nature for a walk, reading a good book, meditating for a bit, or taking my old camcorder out to film whatever catches my eye. I've also recently gotten into dancing, so don't be surprised if I'm the first one convincing people to join me on the dance floor. I've lived in France, the US, Scotland, and the UAE, which has given me the chance to meet people from all kinds of backgrounds. Dear All, My name is Maxime, I look forward to studying Industrial Engineering at Twente University from this September onwards, and I am therefore looking for welcoming shared apartment in Enschede that I can call home during my studies. I am 19 years old and have lived in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, for the past 18 years, where I attended both English- and German-language schools. I am a German national by origin and therefore often spent my summer holidays in southern Germany, in the Black Forest and the Alpine area south of Munich. Additionally, I’ve travelled to remote parts of the world, particularly in Asia, Europe and the US. I am calm, easy-going and reliable. I fit in easily; I am happy to help and care about creating a home where everyone feels comfortable. At the same time, I am independent and also enjoy spending time on my own. One of my greatest passions is fishing - I was very happy to discover that it is also possible to fish in and around Enschede. While originally from Germany, I came here to study Psychology at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and just recently graduated with my Bachelor’s degree. However, after I obtained my degree I realized relatively quickly that I would rather dive straight into working, which is why I started a stable full-time position in Business and Import Administration at Koopman International. Natuurlijk spreek ik ook een beetje Nederlands, maar nog niet goed genoeg om een gesprek op een professionele manier te voeren. Maar ik doe mijn best om het snel te leren! Over mij: Ik ben een open en vriendelijk persoon die ervan houdt om nieuwe mensen te leren kennen. Ik houd van allerlei vormen van kunst, koken en gezellig op pad gaan, maar kan ook erg genieten van de rust en het comfort van mijn eigen huis. Momenteel ben ik op zoek naar een nieuwe plek die ik mijn thuis mag noemen. Ik ben op zoek naar een klein appartement of een studio voor mezelf, waar ik volledig zelfstandig kan wonen. Omdat ik iemand ben die behoefte heeft aan structuur en orde, en ik nu financieel veel zelfstandiger ben met een bruto maandinkomen van ~3800€, ben ik op zoek gegaan naar een plek die ik helemaal mijn eigen kan maken en waar ik voor langere tijd kan blijven wonen.
