My name is Mateo, I am 23 years old and originally from Pamplona, Spain, though I have spent a good part of my life living abroad between the United States and Ireland, which has made me adaptable, open-minded and very comfortable settling into new environments and cultures. I am moving to Utrecht in September to start an MSc in Sustainable Finance and Investments at Utrecht University, and the city already feels familiar in a way, as both of my sisters live and work in the Netherlands. I am responsible, organized and easy to live with, a non-smoker with no pets, and I take good care of any space I live in. Financially, the rent is covered by my parents, who already finance two rental properties in the Netherlands for my sisters and are fully prepared to take on this commitment as well. I am not just looking for a short-term solution, I want somewhere I can genuinely settle into and make my own for the duration of my studies.

Ik ben afstuderend journalistiek-student en op zoek naar een ruimte en nieuwe start waar ik mijn studie af kan maken en na werk thuis mag komen. Op dit moment woon ik nog thuis in Kortenhoef, NH. In mijn vrije tijd doe ik aan fotografie, wandelen en sporten in de natuur, koken en (buitenlands) nieuws volgen. Wat inkomen betreft, werk ik ruim 2,5 jaar bij één horecabedrijf als kok naast mijn studie, waar ik nu een bruto maaninkomen heb van rond de €2000,-. Dit betreft 3 vaste werkdagen van minimaal 24 uur per week. Ik doe dit werk al acht jaar parttime in verschillende bedrijven met veel plezier en passie. Mijn inkomen kan verhoogd worden, indien dit nodig is om in aanmerking te komen voor uw ruimte/woning. Ik heb een verantwoordelijke financiële situatie, spaar elke maand en daarnaast staat een familielid garant.
