My mother is a diplomat and she will be moving to Strasbourg for her posting in the summer. She will be funding me for my studies. From the first of September, I will be studying Philosophy Global and Comparative Perspectives at the University of Leiden which is why I am looking for a new home in Leiden. I wish to move to Leiden latest in June but it would be best if I can find an apartment as early as possible so that I can get well settled before my school starts and also visit my mother in Strasbourg. I am particularly interested in the apartment you are renting out because of the nearby amenities, and the relatively short commute to my University. I believe I would be the perfect tenant because, even though I enjoy socializing, I like my home to be a peaceful and private place.

Hi everyone! I’m Leonardo (23), born in Ottaviano (Naples, Italy). I’m a chronically curious person who loves learning new things. I have a BSc in Computer Engineering, and I’m currently doing my MSc in Quantum Science and Engineering, where I got hooked on the quantum world, especially superconducting qubits. I tend to be very tenacious and a bit perfectionist: I like doing things properly, even if it means iterating a lot. Outside work/study, I enjoy going to the gym, I occasionally do a bit of gardening, and I’m a big fan of football and motorsport (especially Formula 1 and endurance racing). Fun fact: when I was 12 I started watching YouTube and discovered Vsauce, back when I barely understood English, and the “mental jumps” between topics felt impossible to follow. Over time I pushed through, understood more and more, and it’s still my favorite channel because it can make any random topic interesting.
