Hi! My name is Lumi, I’m 18 years old and I’m currently living in Finland but looking for a place to stay while I begin my bachelor studies at TU Delft. I’m a very sociable person (most pictures I have of myself are with my friends as you can probably see). I'd say this is largely thanks to my multicultural background: I speak fluent German, Finnish, Chinese, and English as my parents are Taiwanese and German and because I was born and raised in Helsinki – and of course, I am currently learning Dutch as well (thankfully it’s very similar to German!). Therefore, I have an extremely international mindset and can connect with people from all walks of life. My main hobbies include playing instruments. I mainly play violin at the conservatory of Helsinki and guitar in a band. However, I’ll find a practice room outside so you mustn’t worry about unwanted noise :) My friends describe me as someone respectful, kind and easy-going and well tempered and I am confident that I am able to integrate myself in almost any kind of living environment to everyone’s comfort. I am looking for a place to stay for a minimum of 1 year or longer, as I'll have to start my master thesis soon. I have been living in many countries (Italy, Estonia, Hungary, the Netherlands, and the UK) over the years and I already have plenty enough of co-living experience. I am generally quiet and respectful of other people's needs, while also making sure to create good house dynamics.
