Looking for a new housemate (+27, working)

Room available starting JULY 1 in spacious house by the Wilheminapark.

Our beloved housemate is leaving, so we’re looking for someone new! The house has a large living room (about 60m²) with a lounge area, study nook, spacious dining table, bar, open kitchen with a dishwasher (and oven!), balcony, and large windows. There’s a separate toilet in the hallway. On the top floor, we each have our own bedroom and share a bathroom with a bathtub, separate shower, double sink, toilet, washing machine, and dryer.


About the room

The room is about 20m², located at the front of the house, and features a wooden floor and built-in wardrobes along an entire wall. The rent as of July 1 is €982, including utilities (G/W/E), municipal taxes, and the use of all major household appliances.


About us

You’ll be living with two working housemates:

Meghan (30) is a PhD candidate in Human Geography & Spatial Planning. She spends her free time playing sports (mainly football), reading, going on quests for vinted packages, and terrasje pakken with friends. She also enjoys hosting dinners and a good craft beer.

Charlie (28) is a PhD candidate in History. He’s a lover of long walks, world literature, listening to banging tracks on his record player and going to see movies old & new at one of Utrecht’s great cinemas. He also enjoys hosting dinners and sitting in cosy pubs.

We live in a quiet, clean, and queer-friendly household where we respect each other's space and value a peaceful environment. After a long day of work, we use the space to wind down and recharge. Our house is really a home, where we respect each other, support each other, laugh together, chat about our days, and enjoy spending time together in and outside of the house. We're looking for a housemate who shares the same values, has a similar routine, and fits in well with us. :)
