Hello room searchers :),

Our nice shared house in Helpman is looking for a new roommate. The room is already free and ready to move into. We are four girls, and we are searching for someone to take over a room. Ideally, we would like to find someone who matches our ages and stages in life, which is why we are looking for a third-year student or above, and someone who is around 24 years old and above.

About Us: Currently living in the house are Gabi, Bruna, and Eline. We want to keep it a friendly shared house, where people live together and not anonymously side by side. We are all internationals, but of course, Dutchies are also welcome. We speak English to each other. In the past, we have enjoyed cooking together, watching movies, and playing games. There is no mandatory house event, but we like to spend time together, whether it’s around food, coffee, drinks, or for a little walk. While we are not looking for parties every weekend, we do host house parties for events like birthdays or New Year’s :) Most importantly, we have a dog in the house, Joy! Joy belongs to Eline, and she is a cutie through and through. If you move in, you would need to be okay with her living with us, and ideally, you would welcome her as one of your roomies. Nevertheless, you are not expected to take any responsibility for the dog’s schedule :)

Your potential new roommates are:

* Bruna (25), from Portugal. She moved in recently and is currently doing an internship. She likes anything space/astronomy-related, computer/board games, and watching movies/series.
* Gabi (27), from Lithuania. She’s finishing her Master's degree in Health Psychology. In her free time, she likes to play video and board games, read books, do yoga, and go to live music gigs.
* Eline (28), from France. She’s been working full-time in E-commerce for a few years and is the mom of Joy. If she’s not busy with Joy, she enjoys playing board/card games, having a ‘gezellig biertje’ together, or watching F1.

Location: The house is located in Helpman, the southern part of Groningen (10 min by bike to the center; 20 min to Zernike). We have all the shops you need within walking distance: Kruidvat, Etos, Albert Heijn, Lidl (5 min by bike). It is a nice, calm, and family-oriented area, so it’s quite peaceful, which can be very nice after a busy day of working or studying.

The Room and House: The monthly rent is 400€, all-inclusive. The room is not furnished but has some storage space. The large window makes it quite bright. Registration at the gemeente is possible! Our common area is the big kitchen, which has all the things you could wish for: mixers, an induction stove, a coffee machine, a washing machine, and a dryer! We are also a clean shared house and have a common cleaning schedule, on which we rotate tasks every week!
