Over de woonruimte

Twee die Nederlands spreken en twee die het begrijpen, maar praten alleen maar Engels, dus:

General information:
This house at the Turkooisstraat houses five students. At the moment, 4 men and 1 woman live here. Both a man (temporarily) and a woman will be moving out, so two rooms on the second floor will become vacant. The room itself is around 18m2. There is a built-in closet and sink/mirror. The floor in the room itself has a laminated floor, the stairs are carpeted. The room does come furnished with the basics such as a bed, table, fridge, and closet. The room is only for sub-letters for the period from October to February. 

Information about the rest of the house:
There is one upstairs bathroom shared with everyone (shower, toilet, sink) and a second bathroom (toilet, sink) mainly used by the housemate who lives on the first floor, as well as guests. The kitchen is shared including the fridge, washing machine, dish washer, pots and pans, plates, etc (basically everything). The living room is also shared and has a very nice couch and such. There is a shared shed where housemates like to keep their bikes away from the dangerous Dutch weather.

Location:
The house is located very close to the Zernike campus, as well as two shopping malls (Reitdiep and Vinkhuizen). Getting to the city center takes 10 minutes by bike; the station takes 15 minutes. The closest bus stop is a minute away and has a connection to the city center and the station every 10-15 minutes. 

Roommates:
We all study at the moment, ranging from two studying Medicine and two International Business. Ages vary between 20 and 30. 2 housemates speak Dutch natively but the house communicates in English. If you would like to know more about us then please ask in your message. 

Social stuff:
Momentarily, everyone is very busy with life and school which is why we struggle to plan coming together. We have a cleaning schedule which we expect the new roommate to adhere to. We all have our own space, responsibilities, and needs which we all understand and respect. 

Disclaimers:
There are smokers in the household (including weed) that does occur in personal rooms and the living room. If you are very sensitive to smoke then we would like you to consider how important this would be for you. It is the most noticeable in the room in this post. 

One roommate sings loudly 3-4 times a week for an average of 45 minutes each time. Although preferably times when as few housemates are home, it remains difficult to consider all 4 housemates constantly. Same goes for another musician in the house, but a bit more random.

Applying for this room:
We are looking for a student between the ages of 20 - 30. After a pre-selection, applicants are invited to a get together. We would love to get to know you a little bit in your message that you send so that we can find the ideal housemate. Showing up is a requirement for getting the room; in our experience, this is the ideal way to properly get to know potential new roommates! Unfortunately we do not allow video calls. The get-together will take place on Tuesday the 23nd of September from 17:00 to 21:00. Please send a more personal message to have a better chance and also make sure your budget is equipped for the set rent (430).
