Over de woonruimte

Hey hey!

There is a room (19 sqm) available in the lovely Oosterpoortbuurt, a calm and friendly neighbourhood with lots of students close to the city centre of Groningen. It is only 5 minutes of biking or 15 minutes of walking to the Grote Markt and the central station. 

The room comes semi-furnished. Besides the closet that will stay, the furniture of the room in the pictures is not the same as right now; there is a chair, an (improvised) desk and a lamp that you can use if you want to. 

A bathroom with shower, a well-equipped kitchen with a washing machine, an oven, gas stove and fridge-freezer combination and a nice little garden area are shared with me. In the outside space, there is the possibility to store your bike safely and sit on warm evenings. Especially the kitchen offers space to cook and eat together. The flat is pet-free and smoking is not allowed. New, well-isolating windows have been installed in the entire apartment in 2024.

The room will be available from the 1st of July 2025. I am searching for someone who wants to stay for at least a year, and hopefully longer. Viewings will be held in the second weekend of June (14th and potentially 15th of June).

The costs are 500 euros excluding utilities, and 200 euros for gas, electricity, etc. You will be properly registered at the municipality at this address. We previously have gotten rent allowance (huurtoeslag), so that might be an option in the future, too.

I am searching for someone who will take good care of the room and the shared spaces together with me. I am doing my Masters degree at the moment, so I am searching for a roommate who is a bit further in their studies as well and has lived in shared flats before. Your gender or nationality is not important. 

I am an open-minded and social person who is always in for a chat, while at the same time, I also like to have a clean, calm and homely environment.
