Over de woonruimte

We’re looking for a new roommate in the city center of The Hague! A large 18.7 m2 attic room opens up in a spacious apartment right on Spui in front of the Bierkade tram station. You would live with the two of us, so there would be three people in total. 

We (Anne, 30 years old, and Valters, 25 years old) love having chats and are down to hang out once in a while. We do, however, like to have a peaceful household. Anne works full-time in Amsterdam at a non-profit organization, and Valters studies at the Royal Conservatory. We would like someone who wants to keep it clean with us, and is up to decorating the shared spaces a bit more. 

Anne likes cooking, baking and watching everything television (movies, shows, etc.). She loves finding cute restaurant spots in The Hague, and discussing world politics. Valters likes working on and listening to music, exploring the city, talking about airplanes and world events and life.

The room has a lot of light due to the many windows, and looks out onto Spui. It is right next to the shared living room, which we would love to redecorate with you! Do note that it’s an attic room, so the ceiling is slanted, as well as the fact that there is no wall between the room and the common space – the only divide being curtains and blankets hanging from the support beams that were left by the last tenant.

We have a shared kitchen with basic amenities, with space to bring your own stuff. There is a beautiful roof terrace with a lot of sunshine, especially in the morning. Even though it is in the city center, it is actually kinda quiet. The roof terrace is also quite private as it is between other buildings without windows looking onto it. There is a storage space downstairs. As well as space for a bicycle. 

The rent would be a total of 746,42 per month (including gas, water, internet, etc.), the first three months due to a new internet contract discount. After the discount ends, the rent will be 755,58 per month total. We are looking for a long-term tenant to stay for at least a year, as with changing regulations around rent prices, it would ensure more stability around cost increases over time.

The room is available immediately, and we are looking for a new tenant to move in starting in May at the latest.
