Over de woonruimte

One room in  2 bedroom apartment available for rent in Bussum, 8 minutes walk from the Naarden-Bussum station, which is 25 minutes away from Amsterdam Centraal by Sprinter. Viewing possible from the 17th.

My previous roommate, 29 year old girl from Chicago has to leave the country before our contract expires in one year, so I am looking for someone to take over her side of the contract. We are both international students and classmates  at the VU working on our master's degrees, so students are welcomed by the landlord as well as people job hunting or already working. 

The Apartment:
-This room is on the side of the apartment that gets the sunrise, the windows do a decent job of keeping the noise of outside low during the day.
-There is an electric heater on the wall for heating during the colder months, hidden by the closet in the pictures
-The doors on the closet are okay, they were just taken off a few months ago for different aesthetics but they are fine.
-The aparment comes with a nice patio area by the door where the good weather can be enjoyed and the stars are also visible sometimes at night
-good neighbors
-The apartment came lightly furnished (Ikea beds with bedding, couch, kitchen table, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, flooring, and refrigerator) so everything else in the pictures was bought by my previous roommate and I over the past year. The next tenant would need to be okay with a furniture take over where you pay half of the cost of the shared things we bought before, which will be around 150~200 Euros ontop of the other expenses listed below

Costs:
-The total rent is 1,900 per month, this room pays 900 per month excluding utilities. 
-Utilities are about 165 Euros a month (Wi-fi, water, electricity) divided between us, so about 80 Euros per person. 
-The security deposit that the landlord requests is 2 months rent, so half of that for each of us is 1,900 Euros per person

The Landlord
-The land lord is an understanding man, and at the end of the day if you can prove that you and/or your guarantor can pay the rent on time every month all is good.
-Payment of rent is before the 1st of each month, so moving in for September would mean having Septembers rent money ready before 1st September
-For us, we were requested to send:
Copies of IDs/passports of yo and your guarantor, student proof, proof of income from you and/or your guarantors, short descrition about you and also of your guarantors saying what they do for work as well as a signed letter from your guarantor(s) saying that they wil pay for the rent the bills, and costs of living for you. Screenshots of rent payments for your current accomodation if you are already living in the Netherlands will be good as well.

Myself
I am an international student from Zambia, and spent a good amount of time living in both Zambia and Asia (Japan and China) before coming here. I would say I'm a low-key guy, and not very difficult to have as a room mate, I tend to mind my own business but I'm always down for a good chat. We don't need to be complete strangers living under the same roof, I don't think thats a healthy way to live. My number one thing though is that I want a roommate that can stick to a cleaning schedule between the two of us, and generally just keeping the place relatively tidy and cleans up after themselves in the kitchen area.
