One room available in a shared two-bedroom apartment. Flexible move-in/out dates with one calendar month’s notice.

The Area:
The apartment is in Rivierenbuurt, just below the lively De Pijp neighbourhood. It’s about a 20 minute cycle or 35 minutes by public transport to Amsterdam Central. The nearest station is Amstel (13 minutes walk), with RAI and Zuid also close by bike.

You’ll find supermarkets and some lovely spots to eat and drink within a 5-minute walk. There’s also lots of green space nearby perfect for running or wandering, with Martin Luther King Park and Amstel Park just around the corner.

The Room: The room is small, with a bed and wardrobe, but there’s extra storage available - including a chest of drawers in the living area.
The mattress is brand new, and all bedding has been professionally cleaned.

The Apartment: There’s a dining table in the living room you’re welcome to use for working - I have a desk in my bedroom, so it’s usually free. The room gets lovely afternoon sun.

The kitchen is well equipped: espresso machine, oven, pasta roller, dishwasher, a decent fridge/freezer, and a washing machine. There’s also a balcony off the kitchen that catches the morning sun.

The living room has a sofa and TV, and the bathroom setup includes a separate toilet and a shower/washroom off the hallway.

A bit about me: I’m 39 and work from home a couple of days a week. I’m into running, cooking, reading, art galleries, music festivals… a mix of going out and hibernating with films. I grew up in Scotland and have been living in Amsterdam for four years.
