Over de woonruimte

Spacious (22m2) room is available for rent from 10 January 2026 in Amsterdam Rivierenbuurt for minimum period of 6 months and longer. 

The room is part of a big apartment and situated on the 4th floor (the apt is on the 3rd floor). 
You will be sharing the apartment with Catalin (M, 40yo, working student), Chiara (F, 38yo, lecturer), and two lovely cats. 
The cats are well behaved and they don’t have access to your room, they mostly spend their time in the living room sleeping and watching birds.

The neighbourhood is cosy and safe with everything you need within walking distance: two supermarkets, pharmacy, local shops, cafes, bike repair, gym etc. 
Just around the corner there is a tennis park, football and basketball courts, and 3 minutes away are Amstel River and Martin Luther King Park. 
Tram and bus stations are 5 minutes away and Amstel and RAI train stations are nearby. Within 7 minutes biking you are in De Pijp.  

The room is furnished, besides what you see in the photos there is a bed (140x200), wardrobe etc. 

You will, of course, have access to the fully furnished apartment on the 3rd floor. The apartment has a living room we all share (including the cats), plus kitchen, bathroom with shower, and separate toilet. The facilities available include a fully equipped kitchen (gas stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, stand mixer etc), washing machine, internet. There is also a quiet roof terrace. 

We are looking for a working/ young professional flatmate who is considerate and tidy and gets along with cats. 

The monthly rent is 900 Euro (utilities included), with one-month deposit required. The renting period will be for 6 months with possibility to extend it afterwards. 
Please let us know something about yourself (hobbies, free time etc), what do you do for a living, anything you think is relevant sharing. 

We will be scheduling viewings on 3 and 4 January, and you can move in anytime starting with January 10th. 

Let us know if you have any preference for Saturday 3rd January between 18:30-21:00 or Sunday 4th January 16:00-19:30. 
Registration is possible.
