I would like to offer a beautiful furnished room in a spacious mansion in Amsterdam Nieuw West. The mansion is in a quiet, safe, green residential area near Sloterpark. Ideal if you are looking for a calm place to study and live with 4 nice and respectful female students. Video viewing is possible.

The suitable candidate
•	Female student from abroad (preferably 19–25), candidates who are doing an internship
•	Non-smoker, tidy, calm, responsible, respectful
•	Does not require address registration 
•	Full-time employees are not eligible 

The room
•	Furnished room of 19.5 m² (double bed, desk, chair, wardrobes)
•	€975 per month (all-inclusive rent: electricity, water, internet, taxes, furniture, etc).
•	Available from 1 September 2026, maximum 2 years
•	Bathroom shared with one other female tenant

The mansion & current living situation
A large mansion (204 m²) with 5 bedrooms. Currently 4 international students live here (from Slovenia, Sweden, and France), around 21–23 years old. Some are doing an internship and others are doing a bachelor’s or master’s.
Facilities include a kitchen (ground floor), living room (1st floor), bedrooms and bathroom (2nd floor), bedrooms/bathroom/laundry room (3rd floor), toilet (basement), and a garage in the basement (not included in the rent), plus front and back terraces.
Cleaning ladies come every two weeks to clean common areas, bathrooms, and toilets. Kitchen utensils are already available. Extra items are at your own expense.

Rules & what you need to bring
Not allowed: pets, overnight guests, smoking, parties, bikes in the mansion, or bringing your own furniture.
Bring with you: blankets, duvet, pillows, sheets, and any additional kitchen utensils you need.

Rental agreement
Temporary rental agreement; extension is not possible. Notice period: 2 months to end the agreement. Monthly rent is paid in advance after signing.

Move-out and other costs
Move-out cleaning fee: €45 (to prepare the room for the next tenant). Normally no other costs apply, except for damages (intentional or through negligence) and clogged drains (plumber costs).

Deposit
€975 deposit required when you move in. Refunded after move-out minus the €45 cleaning fee.
Location (Amsterdam Nieuw-West)
Quiet, safe, green suburb near Sloterpark. Shops nearby at Osdorpplein (e.g., Dirk, Lidl, Albert Heijn, Action, Hema, C&A). Public transport is easy: direct bus connection to Schiphol Airport and tram 17 within walking distance. With a bike, the city centre is about 25 minutes away.

How to proceed?
Please send a message including:
•	Your rental period (month-to-month, and start date if different)
•	Your preferred viewing method (in person or video call)
•	A short introduction (who you are, what you will study/work on, and your source of income)

I will invite suitable candidates for viewings. After viewings, I will offer the room to a suitable candidate. If the rental agreement is not finalized within a time frame, the offer passes to the next suitable candidate. After the agreement is signed, you will pay the monthly rent in advance. On move-in day, I will be there in person to inspect the mansion together. The deposit is paid after move-in day.
