Over de woonruimte

Aangezien niet iedereen in het huis Nederlands spreekt, is het wel zo handig dat de nieuwe huisgenoot ook Engels spreekt. Dus vergeef mij dat ik de Engelse tekst niet helemaal vertaal.

Hope you’re all doing well. But if you’re looking for a small overpriced room to really make you feel like you’re in Amsterdam, I may have just the place for you.

The apartment is located in the Old-West\Baarsjes part of the city. Dam square, Leidseplein, Vondelpark are all only 5-10 mins away depending on weather/traffic and your personal biking style (#ludicrousmode)

The room is furnished and measures 12m2. It has a private sink and access to the balcony. Kitchen, balcony and bathroom you’ll be sharing with me (an old fourth-year medical student) and another person who'll be renting the smallest room in the apartment. The building also has a large communal garden with a fish pond (basically a small park). Where you can pretend you're not actually in the heart of the city. Seriously, you could be waking up to wild green parakeets on your balcony. 

The place is available until around April/May of 2027 (flexible end-date) but unfortunately registration is not possible since Amsterdam has a 2 household cap per address.

The rent is an obscene €990,-/month excl. with €210,- for utilities/furnishing/taxes/service cost/internet etc. Which comes to a whopping € 1200,-/month. And I'll need €1800,- of your hard earned money as a refundable (provided you don't wreck the place) deposit.

I’ve been saying this for years now, but I might be getting a cat at some point. So, if you're allergic, this might not be the place for you. Then again, it’s no better to be safe than sorry… Or so the song says.
