Hey there! We live in a special spot in Amsterdam Oost, and we're looking for someone to join our home. Here’s the scoop...

(But first: we reserve the right not to respond to blanket messages. Sorry! There are too many nice people looking for housing to respond to automatic responses).

The Living Situation:

The long term renters of this house (Melissa and Missy) are both heading out on adventures abroad. So the we are renting out our rooms for the time of our absence. Xavier, a lovely french guy (35 years) will be living in the house with you in the smaller room. He is super fun and easy going and works full time as a researcher at the UVA. He also goes away many weekends to France. So you often have the space for yourself.

About Our Home:

It’s filled with things we've picked up on our travels. Every piece has a story.
We’ve got a unique kitchen – not super fancy, but it's ours and we love making tasty meals in it.
Above all, our place is about good vibes: kindness, laughter, and and the occasional spontaneous dinner together!

What we hope for in a roomie:

Reliable: As we are both abroad, we don't have the possibility to do another round of roommate hunting mid period. So we are looking for someone who commits to the entire period of 4 months from July 14th- mid or end of November - possibly even January under discussion. 
Tidy: We're not neat freaks, but a bit of order, and cleaning up after yourself makes everyone happier.
Sound Conscious: We respect each other's peace, having people for dinner and a drink is ok, but we don't keep each other up all night or early in the morning. 
Team Player: From taking out the trash and helping keep the jungle of plants alive.
Genuine and Fun: Whether it's a dinner together, a quiet chat, or just chilling – being real is key. 
On a side note Xavier is often gone of biking trips so you will have the space to yourself alot. 

The Practical Details:
-Available 14 July till 15 Nov or end of year
-Rent: €1100 a month for the larger room (This includes internet, water, electricity, taxes, and all those grown-up things).
-Rooms: There are two bedrooms in the house - the one that is available is 18m2 garden facing. Don't worry about furniture, we've got that covered and the place is fully furnished.

The toilet and shower are separate, always handy!
