With great enthusiasm we present 22 two-room apartments of 56 – 72 m2, situated in the east and west wing of project Nieuweroord in the Bos van Bosman, very well-known in Leiden. This green oasis is located within a stone’s throw from the Central Station, the Bio Science Park and also within cycling distance from the beach. The first few houses have already been assigned.

THE APARTMENTS

All apartments are semi-furnished, there is floor heating, a kitchen equipped with various luxury appliances, a luxury bathroom, a separate toilet and a room for the WKO installation. In addition, all apartments have an outdoor space and a storage room located in the garage.


The 15 apartments in the east wing are expected to be completed in November 2020. These apartments are spread over the ground floor and the first, second and third floors. Surfaces vary from 56 to 72 m2 and the outdoor spaces from 4.5 to 14 m2.


The 7 apartments in the west wing are expected to be completed in December 2020. They are spread over the groundfloor and the first and second floors.

Surfaces vary from 57 to 59 m2 and the outdoor spaces from 12.5 to 13.5 m2.


The rental prices vary between € 1,300 and €1,595 per month. In addition, an amount of € 75 for service costs will be reserved. Utilities are exclusive.


HISTORY

A hundred years ago the rich industrialist Aleidus Gerardus Bosman had a villa built on this wonderful location which he named after his wife’s place of birth: Nieuweroord. The villa was demolished in the late sixties.


In 2018 the building of project Nieuweroord started.

The project includes a reconstruction of the former country house as well as an extension with wings on either side with semi-sunken parking garages.

Thanks to the large amount of glass used in these wings they almost seem to blend into the green environment.


SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainability is of paramount importance to Nieuweroord.

The project is completely gas-free and not connected to the gas network. All houses have floor heating and a heat pump (WKO installation). In addition, solar panels have been installed.Together with the heat pump these ensure the generation of energy and the heating, cooling and ventilation of the home and the supply of hot water.
