About the place

I am a tenant living in a luxurious, fully renovated  2-person apartment  in a prime location and I am looking for a new roommate.

BASIC INFORMATION:

Registering with the municipality of Utrecht is required.

Move-in date is flexible: from the 15th of November till the 30th.

This is an ideal house which offers almost anything one could ask for and is located at a prime location in the beautiful city of Utrecht. 

I am a tenant in my mid 20s doing a Master's at Utrecht University (UU). Therefore, I am looking for a mature person who does not cause lots of noise and who is willing to take over the part of the rent (1400€) that my roommate provides. Having experience living with others is considered a bonus but not necessary. 

House Information:
 This home is situated on the beautiful Wilhelminapark and within walking distance from all amenities, the city center, the Utrecht Science Park, and the Utrecht Central train station making this an ideal choice location-wise. Furthermore, the house was just recently fully renovated, and is equipped with Siemens built-in appliances and is fully furnished and decorated. All essential furniture is present. as well as all small appliances, kitchen essentials, dinnerware, and cleaning supplies.


Some additional information about me:
 I am a quiet but talkative person. I have experience living with others for more than 2 years. My current roommate and I have been living together for 1.5 years and every time there were issues, they were solved calmly and maturely. We are on excellent terms with each other. I am very understanding of other people's circumstances. I like math and programming and I am also a fan of board games and may from time to bring friends over to play. You are also welcomed to join if you wish. Finally, I am learning Dutch and Japanese.

TOTAL MONTHLY RENT

The total monthly rent (€ 3.050) consists of the following components:
basic rent 2.650€ 
utilities - 170€
furniture & furnishings = 145€
other service costs (internet, TV and insurance) = 58€
taxes = 27€
Subtracting the rent subsidy/huurtoeslag, the total amount to pay is 2625€.

OTHER INFORMATION
1) It is possible to terminate the shared contract at any time (notice period = 1 calendar month)
2) Deposit is 1 basic rent (€ 2.650) 
3) There are mandatory bi-weekly cleaning services on Tuesday between 12:45 and 2.10. The cost of the service is a fixed cost of 40€.
4) Smoking, pets or playing musical instruments (due to noise pollution to the neighbors) are not permitted according to the contract.
