About the place

Are you working on your Bachelor, Master or are you already working and looking for a room? A room becomes available on the 2nd floor!

We are looking for someone between 18-26 years old. We have an age limit of maximum 26 years by Stedelink, so if you are older, there is unfortunately no point in responding. The room is approximately 30m2 with its own sink. The rental price (including advance payment) is between 450-500 euros (to be agreed with Stedelink). Depending on your income, you can receive housing allowance, which can make the price significantly lower ;)

The building has 16 rooms spread over 3 floors. Each floor has its own kitchen, bathroom and toilet. There is a large hall where parties, mini concerts and theater performances are organized. The garden has a large covered veranda with a fire pit, and we have an enclosed bicycle shed. The AH is around the corner, the station is a 10-minute walk and the TU district is a 10-minute bike ride. The residents are between 19 and 70 years old, with a median around 28. We do not have mandatory dinners or drinks, but those who like it often organize something themselves, so take your own initiative!

On the first floor you live with 5 others (including the youngest and eldest in the house), both men and women, and you share the facilities. We pay together for the internet and the washing machine (together approximately 15 euros per month on top of the rent) and expect you to contribute to this. The room is available from July 26!

Interested? Register as a candidate with a brief description of yourself and why you would like to live with us. We make a small selection of people whom we invite for an agreement. During the approval we give a tour of the house to show the room and areas. We also conduct an introduction round with all candidates and residents to get to know each other. We will vote with the house and will announce the candidate the next day. That gives us and you the chance to sleep on it ;)
