About the Accommodation

Welcome to our charming homestay room, thoughtfully curated by your host to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The room is well-furnished, featuring a cozy single bed, a spacious wardrobe with a mirror, a TV for entertainment, a desk with a comfortable chair for work or studies, ample shelf space, and additional chairs with a coffee table for a relaxing spot. The shared bathroom, located conveniently on the same floor, is equipped with a refreshing shower, a sink, and a washing machine for your laundry needs.

The common living areas are shared with your welcoming host, including a cozy living room upstairs for relaxation and a dining and kitchen area to enjoy meals and conversations. However, the living room is accessible until 11 PM, as it becomes the host’s bedroom after this time. If you’re a cat lover, you’ll appreciate the friendly feline companion that shares this home.

The host arranges for a cleaning lady to visit every two weeks to maintain the common areas. If you wish to have your room cleaned, this service is available for an additional fee.


About the host

Your host is a kind and welcoming individual in his 70s, bringing a wealth of life experiences and a warm, open-hearted personality to your stay. He speaks Dutch and English. With past experience as a BnB host in Costa Rica, he's well-versed in making guests feel comfortable. He enjoys forming connections and sharing his life experiences, making him the perfect host if you're looking for more than just a place to stay. If you appreciate the presence of a fatherly figure, he's eager to be that person for you.

Cooking is one of his passions, and he's excited to extend his hospitality by sharing meals with you. You're warmly welcomed to join him for these heartwarming occasions. Please note that the host is a smoker and permits smoking in the tenant’s room.
