Hi possible future housemate :)

Since my current housemate will be moving in with his girlfriend starting September 1st, I’m looking for a housemate to share the remaining rental period (until October 2025) with me. It’s a two-bedroom apartment in the center of Amersfoort. A great location, not just because you have all the city’s conveniences within walking distance, but also because within a 5-minute walk, you’re in Randenbroekerpark, a park where you can enjoy running or just chilling.

The main reason I fell in love with this apartment almost three years ago is the bright, spacious living room with the adjoining rooftop terrace. In the summer, you’ll often find us there, frequently with the barbecue going.  
On the other side of the living room, you’ll find a modern kitchen, equipped with all conveniences, including a dishwasher.  
The bedrooms are on the ground floor. It might sound a bit strange at first, but it’s actually great because they’re much cooler during the warm summer months. Additionally, there’s a bathroom (with a bathtub) downstairs, as well as a sort of walk-in closet.

A bit about me: I’m Menno, 27 years old, and I’ve been working in Amersfoort for almost three years now. Besides work, I have an active social life; I spend many evenings at friends' places, and friends sometimes visit me in Amersfoort as well. On weekends, I’m often out and about at festivals, city trips, and doing other fun things with friends. I’m also sporty; during the warmer months, I spend quite a few hours on my racing bike, and in winter, you’ll find me more often in the gym.  
I consider myself an easy-going person, and I’d describe myself as an easy-going housemate as well.  
If you want a better idea of who I am: I’m the shorter guy in the last photo (the taller guy is my current housemate).

Lastly, what am I looking for in a housemate? I’m looking for someone who also enjoys sharing a meal together, someone who likes to hang out occasionally when we’re both home.
