About the place

My partner and I are leaving Rotterdam for a year and our light, spacious and furnished apartment in Rotterdam - West with a balcony located on the river side with a gorgeous view to the water will be available for rent. 

It is a maisonette apartment and consists of 2 floors (approximately 70m2) with some original features, such as old marble fireplace frames and is equipped with newly installed (in 2022) double glass windows.

The first living level features:
• a spacious and cosy living room with industrial design furnitures and comfortable L-shape sofa (that can turn into guest double bed)
• open modern kitchen incl. fridge, freezer, electric oven, dishwasher, induction plate, with a big dining area furnished with vintage style table, chairs and sofa with an outlook to the river side
• a sunny bedroom with an old marble fireplace frame furnished with one double bed (or two singles if preferred), desk area, clothes rack and build in closet
• fully renovated bathroom with shower, sink & toilet, incl. laundry machine and dryer.
• an entrance hall furnished with shoe cabinet

On the upper living level, there is a hall furnished with a big wardrobe, hanging dryer and another bathroom with sink and shower with an access to the balcony overlooking to the river and skyline of Rotterdam.
There is also a technical space with CV-ketel. 
Note: upper storage space is not available to the tenants.

The apartment is fully equipped: you can move in right away without missing anything. Apart of mentioned above amenities there is also a complete kitchenware, iron and ironing board, hanging dryer, cleaning equipment and a vacuum cleaner.

Location: Rotterdam - West/ Tussendijken, few minutes walk to the metro station, the historical Delfshaven neighbourhood and immediate vicinity of public transport (tram, bus), various shops, supermarkets, nice restaurants, brewery, recreational places, etc. This is a multicultural residential area with a nice mix of families, entrepreneurs, and single person households. Rotterdam Central station is reachable in 10 minutes by bike, Schiedam Centraal - 15 minutes by bike. Paid parking available on the street/ in the area.

The rent:
• 1 750,- € per month, including service costs, municipality taxes, furniture rental, equipment wear, insurances
• excluding gas/water/electricity - payment based on actual usage of tenant(s)
• Duration of the sub-rent: 12 months 
• Available from half January 2025 (flexible start of the contract - upon agreement)
• Deposit is 2 000,- €
• Suitable for one person or a couple. 
I am looking for a tidy, respectful, responsible tenant(s), a single or a couple. No smoking. No pets. Any agreements made are between prospective tenant(s) and homeowner.
