About the place

The student complex is just a few minutes away from the University of Groningen and the Hanze University of Applied Sciences. The city center is only a 15-minute bike ride away.

The complex is equipped with many shared facilities. There is a laundry room with washing machines and dryers, various study and meeting rooms, an in-house gym, lounge area, a private dining room, and a bicycle storage area. The lounge has a ping pong table and a dartboard. The private dining room is a large kitchen located on the 22nd floor with a view over the city and the Zernike campus. This room can be reserved free of charge.

Outside the building, there is a central collection point for household waste.

The studios are furnished and equipped with:
- Curtains, a wardrobe with mirror, and a desk with chair
- Kitchen with a four-burner induction stove, combination microwave/oven, and a fridge with freezer compartment
- Bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink
- Double bed with mattress (dimensions: 200 cm x 140 cm)

All units at Hoogeweg 1 are Short Stay studios and are only available for contracts with a maximum duration of six months. Perfect if you're only here for one semester, but also a good option if you plan to stay longer. Getting a long-stay room at this time of year is quite difficult, so this is a great starting point. If availability allows, we can help you find a long-stay room at the end of your short-stay contract.

Short Stay studios are not eligible for rent allowance. It is possible—and also mandatory—to register at this address with the municipality of Groningen.

Conditions and additional costs:
- We only rent to students
- Rental is for both Dutch and international students for a fixed period of six months. Early termination is not possible
- Subletting is not allowed and is actively monitored
