A compact, cosy and self-contained attic apartment in a fantastic location just off Maasstraat, close to the RAI.

The apartment is a fully independent living space within the building, with its own entrance and facilities. The main tenant lives in the apartment below and is subletting this space with permission from the landlord.

The monthly rent of €1140 includes furnishing, internet, and advance payment for gas & electricity (settled annually in September; difference payable or refundable).

Additional shared municipal and water charges average approximately €50 per month.

Please note: the bathroom is integrated into the bedroom space with a partial curtain/partition, so the apartment is best suited to a single occupant who is comfortable with a more open layout (please see photos).

Ideal tenant:
Best suited to a single working professional looking for a calm, private, longer-term home. A minimum stay of 12 months is preferred, with longer-term tenants very welcome. The apartment would suit someone with a stable work situation who can comfortably support the monthly costs, and who relishes the fitness opportunities of living on the 4th floor!

Procedure for applying if this sounds like a good fit for you:

-Please send a short introduction about yourself, including your work and income situation, intended length of stay, why you're moving, and any other information you might like to add.

- A selection of applicants will be invited to visit the flat and meet the main tenant (aiming for Thursday 23rd or Saturday 25th April)

- The chosen applicant will be asked to provide supporting documents (see below)

- All being well, the successful applicant will be invited back to sign the contract and pay a partial deposit of €300

- The remaining deposit of €840 plus September’s rent (€1140) are payable before 31st May (the deposit is refundable in full on leaving the accommodation in a good state)

Required documents:

- Copy of passport and any other documents for living/working in NL as appropriate (e.g. residency permit, visa)
- History of rental accommodation for last 3 years and reason for leaving (references welcome)
- Evidence of minimum monthly income of €2,900 net (last 3 wage slips or bank statements)
- Evidence of ongoing employment, preferably for at least the next 12 months (employment contract)
