You share the cooking facilities in the eat-in kitchen with the main tenant. You share a 20 m² roof terrace with the main tenant. Your share of the additional living expenses = 50% x €300.00 = €150,00 for energy, water, internet, and 2 local tenant taxes. You pay the main tenant €1.430,00 for the furnished accommodation consisting of 24 m² private space plus 18 m² shared space. The main tenant also has a bathroom with bathtub + toilet + washbasin. The trial period is a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 9 months. Thereafter, the tenancy is for an indefinite period. There is a second separate room with a sink for cleaning and storing dishes, pans, and clothing. ONLY ONE ROOM CONTAINS A GAS HOB. Residents may not create a second kitchen using electrical appliances. This is a mandatory requirement of the Municipality of Amsterdam. The Municipality of Amsterdam prohibits an house / apartment from having two rooms where a hot meal can be prepared.
