About the place

Hey!

I am currently renting an apartment on Herengracht. The apartment used to be divided into two studios, so I decided to reinstate it and rent out the other part.

So the apartment has two floors; an upper and a lower floor. The lower floor is yours and is fully furnished and has its own bathroom. Before you move into the apartment, I will install a small kitchenette (electric 2-burner stove, kettle, etc.) so you can cook small dishes as well but don't expect a mega space where you can cook extensively.

The only shared space is the hallway and the small courtyard garden (see photos). In this space you will also find the washer and dryer, which will also be shared. Currently the little garden is much more stone than grass, but I plan to put nice plants there; ideas are welcome.

The apartment is in the middle of the city, but quietly situated. With a supermarket, nice stores, gym, etc. within walking distance. In the building itself there are 3 other apartments.

For me it is important that you communicate easily and respect the living environment (I rent it myself directly from the owner). Registration is possible in discussion.

You would live next door to me; a 27-year-old Dutchman with a small business. I love to travel, play sports, read, take long walks and enjoy all the beauty Amsterdam has to offer.
