About the place

My partner and I have a free, new, almost independent furnished studio of about 30 m2 on the house's second floor. It includes everything one needs: a kitchen, a bathroom, and a living room with a 160 cm bed, table, chair, and wardrobe. The only shared facilities with the rest of the house are the washing machine and dryer. The location is great - Bowenkerk, Amstelveen - just 20 minutes by bike from Zuid station, and only a minute from a bus stop heading to Bijlmer Arena, Amsterdam Zuid, and Schiphol. Albert Heijn, Lidl, the Stadshart shopping center, and various sports facilities are all within 10 minutes as well. It's a very quiet and safe area, with Amsterdamse Bos just around the corner. 

The base rent is EUR 1200 per month and we split the utilities and taxes equally per person living in the house, so they usually amount to around 180 - at the end of the stay we can provide the actual costs and reimburse/charge the difference. We ask for a one-month deposit and some proof of income. It is already free and the duration can be up to a year. We will sign a contract and the rentee will have to register at the municipality.
