About the place

Available from as from May 1st 2025 until July 2026 with the possibility that the period can perhaps be extended. 
Your room is on the 1st floor of spacious semi-detached villa, type two semi-detached house, 30's house, in a quiet area, leafy avenue. All houses have trees and big gardens.
Room is approximately 4.00 x 4.00 m. with view to the quiet green garden in front of the house. Room has huge balcony facing south, so you can enjoy the sunshine and be outside most part of the day. 
Lots of closet space. Central heating, self-adjustable. 
Room has a double bed.
Shared use of bathroom, with bath and shower. 
Bathroom is also used by main occupant / owner and 3 other students renting rooms in the same house.  Including you 5 persons will use the bathroom. (Separate toilet on same floor)

Cooking:
You have your our own cooking facilities. There is a brand new kitchenette built in this room, next to a balcony for fresh air. You also have your own private mini-fridge.

General:
In the bathroom there is also a washing machine for laundry: shared use by the tenants.
Tenants’ toilet opposite your room is on the same floor and is also for shared use (not by house owner. I have my own toilet downstairs). 
In front of the house there is (free) parking space if you have a car. In the garden you can park your bike. 
The room will be rented fully furnished, with (double)bed, closets with hangers, a desk and an easy chair. 
Distance to Science Park University of Utrecht is appr. 30 minutes by bicycle or bus.
Distance to supermarket and shopping center appr. 5 minutes by bike.
Bicycles can be rented either from bicycle shops in the neighborhood or in Utrecht. I have a bicycle available for rent also.

For whom? 
For 1-2 quiet, non-smoking female student(s) or working (young) lady/ladies (or mother with baby) who appreciate privacy and peace. It does not matter whether and what time you get home at night, as long as you take into account the night's rest of your fellow residents . As owner of the house I sleep on the ground floor below your room. It is therefore imperative that after 11.00pm it is quiet in your room as far as footsteps are concerned. For music you may use headphones. 
No pets please and definitely NO SMOKING (also no smoking in the garden!) and no incense.
Preferably you have a Waldorfschool/anthroposophical background but that is not a must.
The reason that the room is available for a young lady and not for a male person is because the attic and other rooms are rented out to  ladies and they prefer it this way, and I want to take that into account. So gentlemen: unfortunately not for you this time, so do not respond. 
Rental fee is Euro 850, and is all inclusive i.e. use of your balcony, heating, electricity, wireless internet, use of washing machine etc.
