Hey everyone! 🌈 ✨

Because our flatmate is going on sabbatical for at least six months, and might not return, we are looking for a new roommate in our beautiful shared house in Wittevrouwen between 1 September and 28 February. These months are fixed, but the end time is flexible, and there’s the possibility of getting an indefinite contract and registration if the current flatmate decides to stay in Italy.
Our preference would be an exchange (master/PhD) student who does not need registration, or someone who can register for a ‘briefadres’ with friends or family. Let us know if that works for you!
The rent is € 620 + ~ € 107 in utilities (electricity/gas/water/internet), so ~ € 727 in total. The room is about 14-16 m2, furnished with a bed, wardrobe and desk. The house has a large living room, cozy kitchen, small garden and a roof terrace. A 5-minute bike ride takes you into the city centre, the train station is about 10-15 minutes biking and you can reach the Utrecht Science Park in 15 minutes.
You’ll be living with Selina (27, Dutch) and Simone (35, Italian). Selina works in the cultural sector, from theatres to festivals and libraries. They like reading, picknicks in the beautiful Griftpark nearby, and trying new creative hobbies. Simone works as a bartender in a restaurant, and he likes playing videogames and going to the gym. Our schedules don’t often line up, but spontaneously hanging out in the living room or having dinner together is very welcome! 
Our ideal roommate is communicative and respectful, and doesn’t have loud house parties. Because the house is quite old, it is a bit noisy, so we keep each other informed when friends are coming over, and are respectful of each other’s bedtimes. We also share the household tasks together, and make sure that the communal areas are tidy and clean.
